Research helps raise awareness of housing issues for older people

Our team’s research on homeownership rates of different age cohorts show clear changes over time and predicts these will continue into the foreseeable future meaning a big change in the homeownership rate of over 65 year olds within the next decade or two.  We’ve been working to share these results with key central and local government agencies as well as other social support agencies working with older people.

In this article the Retirement Commissioner talks about the’looming crisis”.
